One-to-one tuition
or small group courses - ideal for beginners to DSLR photography.
If you are new to photography or have just stepped up to a Digital SLR
and need some help in getting the best out of your camera, I can help.
I offer private tuition, on a 1-to-1 basis
or for small groups (maximum 12 people) at a location convenient to you.
For full information, see my other site,
Photography Courses MidlandsI am a qualified teacher, and I have won recognition for teaching
excellence. I am particularly good at explaining complex topics in ways that are easy to understand. If you are struggling
to learn how to use your new SLR camera, I can explain all the buttons, dials and menus and teach you how to control aperture,
shutter speed, white balance and ISO to improve your picture-taking and give you the confidence to take pictures you will
be proud of.
Courses run in locations in Birmingham and Coventry, or you can learn in the comfort of your own home
or in the company of a small group of friends. I am based in Warwickshire and will travel up to 10 miles for no additional
cost, but I will also travel further afield if you pay my fuel costs.
Prices start from just £50 for a 2-hour
session. However, if you want a full day's training for your group, club or organisation, I can deliver the same content
I provide on my classroom-based courses but by coming to you it can be very cost-effective. My fee for a full day course is
just £300 (plus travel costs) for up to 12 people. All you need to do is provide a suitable venue (I'll bring my
own laptop and projector).
I can also tailor the content of sessions to make sure I cover exactly what you need.
Just drop me an email and let me know your requirements, and we can arrange a convenient date for your course!
I
also regularly run courses on behalf of Jessops, the UK's leading photographic retailers. See the Jessops Training Academy website for more information, and to read my profile.
